Remembrance Sunday - Surbiton road closures |

The annual Surbiton Remembrance Sunday Parade is scheduled for this Sunday, 9 November at 10:15am. There will be a procession leading from HOLLYFIELD ROAD, along EWELL ROAD to the war memorial located at the front of Surbiton Library Hall where a Service will take place at 10:45am.
A series of road closures will be put in place as authorised by the Temporary Traffic Notice:
HOLLYFIELD ROAD will be closed pre-event from 8:30am to permit the formation of the Parade followed by closures along the EWELL ROAD from the junction with HOLLYFIELD ROAD to ST MARKS HILL from 10am to permit the safe passage of the parade along the processional route to the war memorial. Fixed road closures will be kept in place throughout the entire event.
The road closures will remain in place until the parade has returned to HOLLYFIELD ROAD (usually around 12:15)
Please note that during the above times, the procession route will need to be kept clear.
For reasons of security, Stewards and Police will not be allowing ANY vehicles to enter:
HOLLYFIELD ROAD (from 8:30am until approx 12:15pm) EWELL ROAD between HOLLYFIELD ROAD and ST MARKS HILL (from 9am until approx 12:15pm)
A Temporary Traffic Notice will be in force from 7am on Sunday 9th November. During the time of the road closures all parking will be suspended. If you have a vehicle parked on HOLLYFIELD ROAD or EWELL ROAD (between HOLLYFIELD ROAD / ST MARKS HILL) please ensure it is moved before 7am on Sunday.
